Allianz Partners UK and Ireland, a leading assistance and insurance provider, announces it has appointed Marcus Latchford as its new Chief Sales and Distribution Officer (CSO).
Marcus joins Allianz Partners from RAC, where he spent four years as the Director of RAC’s Insurance business.
Marcus brings in-depth knowledge and extensive experience gained from 15 years in the insurance industry. He spent the first seven years of his career at Endsleigh Insurance, before joining Zurich Insurance to become Head of Propositions for their UK General Insurance business.
Marcus will lead the sales and distribution teams at Allianz Partners and report to Tim Tozer, CEO of UK and Ireland. He replaces Lee Taylor who is now the CEO of Benelux and the Nordics. As CSO, Marcus will inherit a range of leading propositions and strategic relationships with partners across the corporate, automotive and travel sectors, and play a significant role in diversifying and profitably growing the business in its core markets.

Marcus’s appointment was effective 1 January 2023.
