Shima Heydari is appointed as the new Managing Director for Allianz Partners Benelux & Nordics

Amsterdam, 11th March 2025 

Allianz Partners, a world leader in insurance and assistance, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shima Heydari as the new Managing Director for the Benelux and Nordics regions, effective March 1st, 2025. She succeeds Lasse Grundström, bringing over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services sector and a strong background in business management to her new position.

Shima, who has been part of the Allianz Group since 2019, most recently served as Finance Director for the Benelux & Nordics region, where she was instrumental in developing strategic partnerships across various business functions. In her new role, Shima will concentrate on enhancing market presence, driving innovation, and spearheading new business growth initiatives.

Prior to Allianz, Shima spent over two decades in the Financial Services industry in the Netherlands and the UK, including leadership roles at EY and PwC where she led and expanded significant client portfolios and contributed to diversity and inclusion. Shima holds a degree in Biochemistry from the Imperial College in London, and a postgraduate Diploma in Law from the London College of Law.
