With the SpeakUp tool, we offer a simple way to report concerns. The tool fully protects your identity. We make sure that each reported incident is dealt with by our independent examiners in an impartial and effective way.

Based on your report, we can contribute to stopping any potential violations, help the people affected and improve our prevention measures. It also helps us to minimize the risks of future wrongdoings. 

You can use the SpeakUp tool, or any of the other reporting channels listed below, if you have information that entities of Allianz Partners or any of its suppliers violate any laws, regulations or internal rules. 

 

The incidents you can report include e.g.: 

  • fraud, theft or corruption 
  • antitrust violations and potential conflict of interest
  • financial irregularities or breaches of accounting or tax provisions
  • discrimination, harassment, harmful working conditions and other breaches of human rights
  • severe environmental damage

Dieser Meldekanal ermöglicht es allen Personen, die für die Allianz arbeiten, sowie externen Stakeholdern, Verdachtsfälle von Verstößen gegen Gesetze, Richtlinien oder interne Regeln vertraulich zu melden. Ihre Meldung wird streng vertraulich behandelt und kann nach Wunsch vollständig anonym erfolgen.

Anonyme Meldungen von Hinweisgebern

Dieser Meldekanal ermöglicht es Ihnen, mit der zuständigen Person (Ermittler) anonym zu kommunizieren (über einen geschützten Postkasten). Wenn Sie Ihre Identität in Ihrer Meldung nicht preisgeben möchten, werden Sie einfach dazu aufgefordert, sich mit einem selbst gewählten Benutzernamen und einem persönlichen Code im System zu registrieren. Das Ermittlungsteam hat Zugriff auf die von Ihnen übermittelten Informationen und erhält keine Kenntnis Ihrer wahren Identität, sofern Sie diese nicht offenlegen. Wenn Sie sich aus irgendeinem Grund dafür entscheiden, die Meldung anonym abzugeben, achten Sie bitte darauf, keine Informationen anzugeben, die Ihre Identität offenlegen könnten.

Our SpeakUp tool and the other reporting channels are open to anyone who works for the Allianz Partners or its suppliers. It is also open for anyone else, inside or outside Allianz Partners, who has information about a potential or actual wrongdoing related to Allianz Partners entities or their suppliers.

You can report an incident also if you are not directly affected by it. If you have been affected by an incident, you can also ask someone else to submit a report on your behalf. 

You can report incidents either anonymously or you can provide your identity. It is useful for our investigations team if you provide your name and/or an e-mail address when submitting a report. This enables us to contact you in case we have any follow-up questions.

Regardless of how you submit your concern (email, via the SpeakUp tool, letter, or in-person), your report will be handled with the utmost diligence and confidentiality.

The above-listed channels are not intended for complaints that do not reflect an act of wrongdoing or a violation of external laws and regulations or internal corporate rules. Complaints relating to an insurance policy, or to any of our services, should be sent via the appropriate Corporate channel as displayed in your insurance policy terms & conditions.

Allianz Partners will investigate misconduct promptly and appropriately through trained personnel following appropriate procedures including a formal investigation process. The process of the assessment of the allegations disclosed in the whistleblowing report and investigation steps are defined in the AzP Investigation Protocol.

The submitted non-anonymous whistleblowing report will be processed and the appropriate confirmation will be provided to the whistleblower within 7 days.

The follow-up to the whistleblowing report with information regarding the actions taken by Allianz Partners will be provided within 3 months of confirmation date. In individual cases, especially when the reported concern is complex and requires intensive investigation, feedback will be provided after 6 months of the confirmation date. When the allegations are unsubstantiated or when the report is no longer applicable, the case (report) can be closed. In this case, the whistleblower must be informed in writing of the closure of the case.

You also have the right to report externally to competent local authorities if you prefer to.

The German Government has defined the following authorities that accept reports on misconduct as external reporting channels:

  • Federal Office of Justice (Bundesamt für Justiz)
  • Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht)
  • Federal Competition Authority (Bundeskartellamt)

The French Government has defined the following authorities that accept reports on misconduct as external reporting channels:

  • French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA), for anti-corruption management; 
  • Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF), for anti-competitive practices, product compliance and consumer protection; 
  • Competition Authority (Autorité de la concurrence, pour les pratiques anticoncurrentielles), for anti-competitive practices;
  • Financial Markets Authority (AMF), for investment service providers and market infrastructures; 
  • Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR), for credit institutions and insurance organizations;
  • General Inspectorate of the Environment and Sustainable Development (IGEDD), for environmental protection;
  • General Directorate of Labor (DGT), for Individual and collective labor relations, working conditions;
  • General Delegation for Employment and Vocational Training (DGEFP), for employment management;
  • Defender of rights
  • French Judicial Authority (Ministry of Justice, Ministère de la Justice)
  • Others French authorities listed in Annex to French Decree No. 2022-1284 of October 3, 2022 relating to Whistleblowing process.

As per the German Supply Chain Act and French SAPIN II regulation, the Allianz Partners encourages anyone to report violations of human rights and environmental related standards.

Please find relevant information in the applicable Verfahrensordnung (SpeakUp Rules of Procedure) as aligned with the Allianz Partners Human Rights Officer.

The Allianz Partners does not tolerate retaliation in any form against anyone who reports an incident in good faith (that means that the reporting person had reasonable belief that the information about the reported incident was true). Your information will be treated confidentially. All data provided is processed in accordance with applicable data privacy requirements.

This applies also for cases where an examination does not confirm the allegations. 

In the context of a reported incident, retaliation could take the form of any action (or omission) that could lead to an unjustified disadvantage for the reporting person, such as:

  • HR measures (e.g., written warning, transfer to another unit/department/entity, termination, withholding of promotions)
  • Harassment or mobbing (e.g., creation of a hostile work environment, offensive and harmful behavior, intimidation of any kind, unwelcomed physical contact, exclusion from team activities)
  • Compensation aspects (e.g., salary or bonus cuts)
