Ulf Lange was appointed CFO and a member of the Board in September 2016. This position continues his longstanding career with the Allianz Group, with roles including Head of Legal, Compliance and HR for the Allianz operations in CEEMA and CFO of Allianz Ayudhya, Allianz's life insurance entity in Thailand. In 2014 he was appointed Head of the CEO Office under Michael Diekmann and then Oliver Bäte. Before joining Allianz SE in 2008 as Executive Assistant to the CFO, Ulf began his career in 2005 in Dresdner Bank’s tax department.
Ulf holds a law degree and a PhD in tax law from universities in the UK and Germany. He also has an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.
Mike Nelson was appointed a member of the Board of Allianz Partners in July 2017. In 2016, Mike was named CEO of Allianz Partners global travel line of business and a member of the Group’s International Committee. He joined the Group in 2012 as CEO of Allianz Assistance USA. He has also managed operations in and guided the strategic direction of the Americas region, which includes activities in Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. Previously Mike held various positions at Orbitz Worldwide, the global online travel agency, including President of its Partner Services Group and Global Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Orbitz, he spent 10 years in finance and marketing at Deluxe Corporation, Diageo/Pillsbury, and Arthur Andersen.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
President and CEO of Mondial Assistance France from April 2012 to April 2016, Dan Assouline joined Allianz Partners to manage Direct Sales and Digital. From 1998 to 2012, he was the CEO of Allianz Assistance Brazil. From 2008 to 2012, he also held the position of Regional Director for Latin America and successfully led Allianz Assistance operations in the Americas zone. Dan initially went to Brazil in 1993 as Director of Operations for Mercosul Assistance, which the Group acquired in 1996. Prior to joining the group, he spent 8 years at GMF Assistance International as Director of Information Systems.
Dan earned a Master's degree from the University of Paris-Dauphine, and also completed two Senior Executive Programmes – one at the University of Pennsylvania and the other at INSEAD.
In 2015 Ida Luka-Lognoné was appointed CEO of International Health after joining the Board of Allianz Partners in 2014 as Head of Strategy, Innovation and Market Management. Having joined Elvia Travel Insurance Group in 1992, she was appointed Director of Business Development for Central and Eastern Europe in 1996. She became Director of the European Region for Mondial Assistance Group in 2000, and a Member of its Executive Committee in 2002, in charge of EMEA and in 2007 of APAC.
Ida graduated from Cracow Jagiellonian University, Inalco in France and completed Executive Programs of INSEAD.
In 2016, Sylvie Ouziel was appointed CEO of the Assistance line of business with responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region. She joined Allianz in February 2012 as Chairwoman of Allianz Managed Operations and Services SE (AMOS). Sylvie spent 20 years with Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting) where she built and led professional services practices (consulting, IT, outsourcing) and held several positions including Managing Partner Health and Life Sciences, President of Invita and Global COO of Accenture Management Consulting.
Sylvie graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris with an engineering degree specialising in economics, and earned an Executive MBA from Kellogg’s Northwestern (Accenture program). Sylvie is also currently a non-executive board member of M6 and Foncière des Regions, as well as a member of the scientific committee for the Convention on Health Analysis and Management in France.
Claudius Leibfritz joined the Board of Allianz Partners in March 2016. In addition to his role as CEO of Automotive business, he is also responsible for the DACH and SEE region. Prior to that, in 2015, he held the position of CEO of both Allianz Assistance for DACH & SEE and Allianz Handwerker Services. Claudius joined Allianz Assistance in 2011 as Group Director of Operations and Networks. He was in charge of all global operations activities and successfully implemented complex global transformation programs and efficiency initiatives. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years with the Boston Consulting Group where he led various international projects.
Claudius holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Berne in Switzerland and a Master's degree from Tübingen University in Germany.
COO of Allianz Benelux since 2013 and a member of the Board of Management responsible for harmonzing all regional IT and Operations, Eric Schneijdenberg joined Allianz Partners as of January 1, 2019 as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board. He began his career with the Allianz Group in 2000 as Head of Compliance for Allianz Netherlands Group, and subseqently occupied other management positions. These include CEO of Allianz Netherlands Asset Management and Head of Claims Management for Allianz Netherlands Group. Eric is also a member of the Allianz Operations Management Council and a participant in the Allianz Renewal Agenda Accelerator Program. As a result, he has been closely involved in the definition and implementation of the Allianz Group strategy, notably for Operations, IT and IT Security.
Eric holds graduate degrees in both Dutch Law and Business Finance and Law.
