Board of Management

The Allianz Partners Board of Management is made up of experts from a variety of backgrounds. Read more about each of our Board Members below.  

In April 2019, Sirma Boshnakova was appointed CEO of Allianz Partners following 4 years at Allianz SE as Executive Vice President / Head of Business Division for Southern and Western Europe. Prior to this, she served as Board Chairman of a Health and Life Insurance company and CEO of non-life Insurance Group of companies. Sirma has also worked as COO and Executive VP Sales within the insurance sector, having begun her career in a Consultancy group.

Sirma holds both a Masters and a Ph.D in Economics from Moscow State Institute of International Affairs (MGIMO). 

Dan Assouline - Chief Market and digital officer at Allianz Partners

President and CEO of Mondial Assistance France from April 2012 to April 2016, Dan Assouline joined Allianz Partners to manage Direct Sales and Digital. From 1998 to 2012, he was the CEO of Allianz Assistance Brazil. From 2008 to 2012, he also held the position of Regional Director for Latin America and successfully led Allianz Assistance operations in the Americas zone. Dan initially went to Brazil in 1993 as Director of Operations for Mercosul Assistance, which the Group acquired in 1996. Prior to joining the group, he spent 8 years at GMF Assistance International as Director of Information Systems.

Dan earned a Master's degree from the University of Paris-Dauphine, and also completed two Senior Executive Programmes – one at the University of Pennsylvania and the other at INSEAD.

Mike Nelson - CEO  Travel Insurance at Allianz Partners
Jean-Marc Pailhol was appointed Chief Global Strategic Partnerships and member of the Board of Allianz Partners in January 2020. He joined the Allianz Group in 2009 and held positions such as Head of Distribution Unit and SME/Midcorp/Corporate Business (Allianz France) and Head of Group Market Management & Distribution (Allianz SE). Jean-Marc Pailhol began his career in IT and Banking.  He holds a Master’s degree in Private Law and Political Sciences and an MBA from the ESSEC Business School. 
Ida Luka-Lognoné - CEO of International Health at Allianz Partners

In 2020 Ida Luka-Lognoné was appointed CEO of Travel in addition to International Health after joining the Board of Allianz Partners in 2014 as Head of Strategy, Innovation and Market Management. Having joined Elvia Travel Insurance Group in 1992, she was appointed Director of Business Development for Central and Eastern Europe in 1996. She became Director of the European Region for Mondial Assistance Group in 2000, and a Member of its Executive Committee in 2002, in charge of EMEA and in 2007 of APAC.

Ida graduated from Cracow Jagiellonian University, Inalco in France and completed Executive Programs of INSEAD.  

Claudius Leibfritz - CEO of Automotive at Allianz Partners

Claudius Leibfritz joined the Board of Allianz Partners in March 2016. In addition to his role as CEO of Automotive business, he is also responsible for the DACH and SEE region. Prior to that, in 2015, he held the position of CEO of both Allianz Assistance for DACH & SEE and Allianz Handwerker Services. Claudius joined Allianz Assistance in 2011 as Group Director of Operations and Networks. He was in charge of all global operations activities and successfully implemented complex global transformation programs and efficiency initiatives. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years with the Boston Consulting Group where he led various international projects.

Claudius holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Berne in Switzerland and a Master's degree from Tübingen University in Germany.

Ulf Lange - Chief Financial Officer at Allianz Partners

Ulf Lange was appointed CFO and a member of the Board in September 2016. This position continues his longstanding career with the Allianz Group, with roles including Head of Legal, Compliance and HR for the Allianz operations in CEEMA and CFO of Allianz Ayudhya, Allianz's life insurance entity in Thailand. In 2014 he was appointed Head of the CEO Office under Michael Diekmann and then Oliver Bäte. Before joining Allianz SE in 2008 as Executive Assistant to the CFO, Ulf began his career in 2005 in Dresdner Bank’s tax department.

Ulf holds a law degree and a PhD in tax law from universities in the UK and Germany. He also has an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin. 

Lars Rogge - Chief Operations Officer at Allianz Partners
Lars Rogge was appointed Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Allianz Partners in April 2020. He began his career in 2001 as Project Manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich. From 2007 to 2009 Lars Rogge was Head of Section Process Management, Policies & Procedures at Deutsche Börse AG in Frankfurt. He joined Allianz SE in 2009 as Head of Group Project Office, responsible for the development of the “Core Group Project” Portfolio in alignment with the Group's strategy. From 2014 to 2015 Lars Rogge was Head of COO Office & Head of Central Program Steering "Betrieb 2020" at Allianz Deutschland AG, supporting the COO in the management of Operations. In 2015 he became Global Head of Operations Travel, Assistance & Digital at Allianz Partners. Lars Rogge holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich.
