Chief Executive Officer
In April 2019, Sirma Boshnakova was appointed CEO of Allianz Partners following 4 years at Allianz SE as Executive Vice President / Head of Business Division for Southern and Western Europe. Prior to this, she served as Board Chairman of a Health and Life Insurance company and CEO of non-life Insurance Group of companies. Sirma has also worked as COO and Executive VP Sales within the insurance sector, having begun her career in a Consultancy group.
Sirma holds both a Masters and a Ph.D in Economics from Moscow State Institute of International Affairs (MGIMO).
Chief Markets Officer
Dan Assouline was appointed as Chief Markets Officer in October 2019. He joined the board of Allianz Partners in 2016 as Regional CEO France & South Europe and Chief Market & Digital Officer. Prior to that, he was the president and CEO of Mondial Assistance France from April 2012 to April 2016. From 1998 to 2012, he was the CEO of Allianz Assistance Brazil. From 2008 to 2012, he also held the position of Regional Director for Latin America and successfully led Allianz Assistance operations in the Americas zone. Dan initially went to Brazil in 1993 as Director of Operations for Mercosul Assistance, which the Group acquired in 1998. Prior to joining the group, he spent 8 years at GMF Assistance International as Director of Information Systems.
Dan earned a Master's degree from the University of Paris-Dauphine, and also completed two Senior Executive Programmes – one at the University of Pennsylvania and the other at INSEAD.
Chief Global Strategic Partnerships Officer
CEO International Health
In 2020 Ida Luka-Lognoné was appointed CEO of Travel in addition to International Health after joining the Board of Allianz Partners in 2014 as Head of Strategy, Innovation and Market Management. Having joined Elvia Travel Insurance Group in 1992, she was appointed Director of Business Development for Central and Eastern Europe in 1996. She became Director of the European Region for Mondial Assistance Group in 2000, and a Member of its Executive Committee in 2002, in charge of EMEA and in 2007 of APAC.
Ida graduated from Cracow Jagiellonian University, Inalco in France and completed Executive Programs of INSEAD.
Member of the Board and Chief Transformation Officer
Prior to joining Allianz, Philipp was Associate Partner at McKinsey. He holds an MSc, Finance and Accounting, from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Tomas Kunzmann was appointed CEO Assistance and member of Allianz Partners’ Board of Management in September 2020.
Tomas joined the Allianz Group in 2009, holding various positions at Allianz Private Krankenversicherung (APKV), including the Head of Health Underwriting.
In 2013, he joined Allianz’ German sales organization (ABV) as Sales Manager before heading up the Regional Branch Offices in Ingolstadt and then Kempten. In 2017, Tomas joined Allianz SE as Executive Assistant to the CEO and then held the role of Interim Head of the CEO Office.
Member of the Board and CEO Travel
On June 1st 2021, Damien Ladous was appointed CEO Travel, maintaining his role as a member of the Allianz Partners Board of Management.
From August 2020 until June 1st 2021 he was Chief Financial Officer and Allianz Partners Board Member. He first joined Allianz in 2006 where he worked on M&A and Corporate Finance at Allianz France before moving to Controlling in 2011.
He then joined Allianz SE in 2012 to work on Controlling and Capital Management activities, before moving in 2015 to the Strategy and Portfolio Management team. Before his current role, he headed the Planning & Controlling function at Allianz France since 2018.
Damien has a degree in electrical engineering from Grenoble INP and a degree in finance from EM Lyon.
Member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer
Julia Unkel was appointed Chief Financial Officer and member of Allianz Partners’ Board of Management on June 1st 2021. Julia joined Allianz Partners in 2020 as Global Head of Special Projects and member of the Executive Committee were she played a key role in strategic projects in the areas of finance, legal and compliance transformation.
Julia held several leadership positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than 11 years and has a wide experience in the insurance industry, including audits and regulatory implementation projects of international and national insurance groups and became a partner in 2009. Julia holds a degree in Law from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität, Heidelberg, Germany and has successfully completed the certified auditor qualification.
