Privacy Policy

AWP Business Services (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (AWP CNAWP CN) places emphasis on the privacy of users and the protection of personal information. As a member of the Allianz Partners global operating entity, AWP CN will comply with the applicable laws and regulations with respect to personal data and privacy, and will implement privacy policies and standards of AWP that are globally applicable. We may collect and use the information of yours when you use our services. We collect the information based on the principles of due attention, clear purpose, openness, transparency and informed consent, which shall be detailed in the section of “Principles of Privacy Policies”.

The purpose of these Privacy Policies is to show how we collect, use, store and disclose the information when you use our services, and how we will provide you with the access, update, control and protection of such information.

By use of or continuing to use our services, you are deemed to have consented to our collecting, using, storing and disclosing the information related to you pursuant to these Privacy Policies.

1. Due Attention

Your personal information is important assets to AWP CN, and is information legally collected by AWP CN. AWP CN will take reasonable and appropriate measures in collecting, handling and protecting the information.

2. Clear Purpose

Your personal information is collected and processed for specific, clear and legal commercial purpose.

3. Openness and Transparency

We will inform you in these Privacy Policies how your personal information is collected and processed, and we will use out best efforts to the extent technically possible to assist you in correcting and updating your information.

4. Informed Consent

We will obtain your consent unless your digital information is required by the law or judicial proceedings to be collected, processed and disclosed, as set forth in the Section of “Disclaimers”.

1. The Rules of Collection of Personal Information

1.1 The personal information may only be collected by AWP CN to the extent it is required by applicable regulations or judicial proceedings or is consented to by the users;

1.2 The personal information shall only be collected for specific, clear and legal commercial purpose;

1.3 The collection of personal information shall be reasonably limited, i.e., shall be limited to collection for the specific commercial purpose mentioned above.

1.4 The personal information may be collected by a third party designated by AWP CN on behalf of AWP CN. Provided that such third party will enter into a written agreement with AWP CN, and shall be subject to the confidentiality obligations not less stringent than those under these Policies, except to the extent that such third party does not represent AWP CN, as set forth in the Section of “Applicable Scope of the Privacy Policies”.

1.5 AWP CN will, in collection of your information, in these Policies inform you why your information is collected and how your information is processed.

1.6 Your information will be first collected from you, and may only be collected from a third party or otherwise to the extent it is legal and practicable.

2. Rules of Processing Personal Data

2.1 AWP CN will comply with the Company’s information safety standard and applicable information safety regulations in processing your information and shall only process your information to the extent necessary to achieve the commercial purpose.

2.2 Regardless of the commercial purpose, your digital information will be collected and processed in a specific, clear and legal manner.

2.3 Unless is required by applicable laws or judicial proceedings, the personal information may only be shared or communicated to a third party if there is a written agreement with such third party.

3. Rules of Storage and Deletion of Personal Information

3.1 The storage of personal information shall comply with the Company’s information safety standard and applicable laws and regulations;

3.2 AWP CN will adopt technically feasible measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness of the personal information and its relevance to the commercial purpose.

3.3 After you have filed relevant application and confirmed you are the true owner of the information via appropriate identity verification process, AWP CN will take technically feasible measures to ensure you may access or updated your personal information, as set forth in the Section of “How you access and control your personal information”.

3.4 The time of storage of personal information shall be subject to applicable laws, and we will only store your personal information for the period sufficient for the commercial purpose.

3.5 We will appropriately process your personal information in a manner provided by applicable laws when your personal information is not necessary any more.

We may collect, store and use the following information related to you when we provide services. If you fail to provide relevant information, you may not be able to register to be our users or entitled to certain services we provide, or certain services may not be fulfilled to your satisfaction.

The Information You Provide

• The personal information you provide us when you register user account, sign up an email newsletter or use our services, such as name, gender, address, telephone/fax number, email address or bank account number etc.;
• The information you share with other parties through our services, and the information stored when you use our services

The Information Shared by Other Parties

• The information of yours other parties share when they use our services.

Your Information Obtained by Us

We may collect the following information when you use our services:

• Log information: Means the technical information collected automatically through cookies, web beacon or otherwise by the System when you use our services, including:
  • Equipment or software information, such as the information of configuration, your IP address and the versions of mobile device and equipment identification code provided by your mobile devices, web browsers or other programs which are used to access our services;
  • The information which is searched or browsed when you use our services, such as the website search words, the URL address of the social media accessed, and other information and contents browsed or requested to be provided when you use our services;
  • The information related to or of mobile applications and other software you used;
  • The information communicated by your through our services, such as the account number used, the time, data and duration of the communication;
  • The information (meta data) contained in the contents you share via use of our services, such as the dates, time or locations etc. of shared photos or videos your shoot or upload.
• The information of location: mean the information related to your location collected when you open the equipment location function and use the services of location provided by us, including:
  • The geographic location information collected by GPS or WiFi or otherwise when you use the mobile devices having the location function or use our services;
  • The real-time information containing your geographic location provided by your or other users, such as the information of area you are in contained in the account information you provide, the shared information you or others upload which indicate the present or previous geographic locations, the geographical mark contained in the photos shared by you or others;
  • You may cease the collection of your geographic information by shutting off the location function.

We may use the information collected during provision by us of services to you for the following purposes:

• Provision of services to you;
• Identity verification, client services, safety protection, fraud supervision, filing or backup files purposes when we provide the services, in order to ensure the safety of the products and services we provide to you;
• Designing of new services and improving the existing services of ours;
• For us to better understand how your access and use our services, and make tailored response to your personal requirements, such as language setting, location setting, tailored held services and directions, or to make responses in other aspects to you and other users;
• To provide targeted advertisements to you to replace general advertisements;
• To evaluate the effects of and make improvements to the advertisements and other promotional and publicity activities during our services;
• Software certification or update of management software;
• To enable you to participate in the investigation of our products and services.
• For such purposes as otherwise specified.

In order for you to have a better experience, to improve our services or other use you consent to, subject to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, we may by compilation of information or tailored information for the purpose of other services through the information collected during provision of a certain service. For example, the information collected when you use one of our services may be used in provision of specific contents in another service, or use for provision of information that is targeted at you which is not general information. If we use relevant items in provision of certain services, you may also authorize use to use the information provided and stored during provision of such services for the purpose of other services of ours.

Without your consent, we and our affiliates will not disclose your personal information to any third party, unless:

• We and our affiliates may disclose your personal information to our affiliates, partners and third party service providers, contractors and agents (such as the communication service providers sending emails or promotional notices on behalf of us, the map service providers providing location data for us) (they may not in the jurisdiction of yours) for the following purposes:
  • Providing our services to you;
  • To fulfill the purposes set forth in the Section of “How we may use Information”;
  • To fulfill the rights and exercise the rights under the Service Agreement entered into between us and you and these Privacy Policies;
  • To understand, maintain and improve our services.

In case we or our affiliates disclose your personal information to the above-mentioned third parties, we shall use our best efforts to procure such third parties to comply with these Privacy Policies and other appropriate confidentiality and safety measures when they use your personal information.

We or our affiliates may retain, store or disclose your personal information for the following purposes, in such case, you are aware of and agree that neither we nor our affiliates shall be liable:

• In order to comply with applicable laws and regulations;
• In order to comply with court orders and other requirements of legal proceedings;
• In order to comply with requirements of government authorities;

In order to comply with applicable laws and regulations, protect public interest, or protect the personal safety and property safety or interests of our clients, our or our affiliates, other users or employees.

We will only retain your personal information during the period required to fulfill the purposes set forth in these Privacy Policies and the time period set forth in applicable laws and regulations. We will use various safety technology and processes, in order to prevent from loss, improper use, unauthorized access or disclosure of the information. For example, during provision of certain services, we will use encryption technology (such as SSL) to protect the personal information you provide. However, we call to your attention that due to technological restrains and malicious devices that may exist, we are not able to ensure one hundred percent safety of the information in the internet industry regardless of how hard we try in taking safety measures. You shall be aware that, the systems and communication network used to access our services may be subject to problems that may be caused beyond our control.

Please note that we accept no responsibility or liability for the security of your information whilst in transit over the Internet to Allianz. In order to protect your privacy we would like to remind you that you may choose another means of communication with Allianz, where you deem it appropriate.

We or our third party partners may collect and use your information via tracking technology such as cookies, which information may be stored as log information.

We use our tracking technologyi for the purposes of provision of more tailored services and user experiences, and for the following purposes:

• Remember your identity. For example, tracking technology may be helpful for us in identifying you as a registered user of ours, or in storing the information related to your preference and other information provided by you to us;
• Analyze the use by you of our services. For example, we may use tracking technology to inquire about what activities you may conduct using our services on your device in the past , or what kind of websites or services you prefer;
• Advertisement optimization. Tracking technology may help us to provide you with more targeted advertisements instead of general advertisements based on your information.

In addition to the use of tracking technology for the above-mentioned purpose, we may also process and summarize the non-personal information collected via tracking technology and provide the same to advertisers or other partners to be used to analyze how users use our services and for advertisement purpose.

There may be tracking technology placed by advertisers or other partners in our products and services. Such tracking technology may collect the non-person information related to you for the purpose of analyzing how users use the services and sending to you the advertisements you might find interest in, or evaluating the effects of the advertisements. Collection and use of such information via third party tracking technology will not be subject to these Privacy Policies, but will be subject to privacy policies applicable to the users, and we will not be liable for the third party cookies or web beacon.

You may use browser and personal device settings to refuse or manage tracking technology. However, for technical reasons beyond Allianz’s control, this cannot be guaranteed.  For example, if you reset your browser, delete your cookies or access the Allianz website from another browser or device your cookie settings may be lost. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, in some countries you may be asked to confirm your cookie settings when you first visit the Allianz Website.  If you are in a country where you are automatically required to set your cookie settings, you may be asked to set them again on a future visit. 

In many cases you can also control tracking technologies using your browser. Please ensure that your browser setting reflects whether you wish to be warned about and/or accept tracking technologies (such as cookies) where possible.  The specific capabilities of your browser and instructions on how to use them can usually be found in the manual or help file of your browser.

However, you shall be aware that ceasing to use tracking technology, you may not be able to enjoy the best service experiences, or parts of the Allianz Website may no longer function correctly, and certain services may not be available. Furthermore, you may receive the same amount of advertisements that has low relevancy to you.

Mail and Information Promotions

When you use our services, we may use your information to send to you emails or promotional notices to your equipment. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may opt to cancel subscription on the equipment according to our direction.

The Announcements regarding Services

If necessary (for example, certain service is suspended due to system maintenance), we may send to you announcements related to the services. You may not be able to cancel the announcements related to the services that are not promotional in nature.

Our services may contain or have links to social media or other services provided by a third party (including websites). For example, 

We will provide links to you via advertisements or other methods used by our services, to enable you to access services or websites of a third party.

Such third party social media or other services may be operated by the relevant third party or us. Your use of such third party social media services or other services (including personal information provided to the third party by you) shall be subject to the services terms and privacy policies of such third party other than the General Service Terms and these Privacy Policies, and you are advised to read carefully such documents.

These Privacy Policies shall only apply to the information we collect, but shall not apply to the services provided by any third party or information use regulations of the third party. We will not be held liable for use by any third party of information you provide.

All of our services shall be governed by these Privacy Policies. Certain special services shall be governed by special privacy policies. The special privacy policies applicable to the special services shall state in more detail how we will use your information in provision of such services. The privacy policies for the special services will be included in additional terms of disclaimers or other contractual terms you have entered into with us such as client privacy statements or notices, and shall constitute a part of these Privacy Policies. These Privacy Policies shall also be subject to any applicable mandatory laws and regulations. In case of inconsistency between the privacy policies for the special services (or mandatory laws and regulations) and these Privacy Policies, the privacy policies for the special services  (or mandatory laws and regulations) shall prevail.

Please note that these Privacy Policies shall not apply to any of the following:

• The information collected through third party services (including any third party websites) accessed via our services;
• The information collected by other companies or entities that provide advertisement services via our services.

You may, where permitted by applicable law or regulation:

• check whether we hold your personal data,

• ask us to provide you with a copy of your personal data, or

• require us to correct any of your personal data that is inaccurate.

Should you have a request regarding the processing of your personal data, in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations and in order to protect personal data, we reserve the right to request you provide certifications on personal identity and information.

We may amend the clauses of these Privacy Policies from time to time, which shall be an integral part of these Privacy Policies. If such amendments will substantially reduce your rights under these Privacy Policies, we will notify you by putting a reminder on the home page of the Company website or sending you email or otherwise prior to the amendments taking effect. In such case, if you continue to use our services, you are deemed to have consented to be bound by these Privacy Policies as amended.
