Drivers in need on the road will be able to access real-time and on-demand roadside assistance from within the Waze app.

PARIS – 2nd July 2018 - Allianz Partners, the B2B2C leader in insurance and assistance solutions, and Waze, the real time crowdsourced navigation app are today announcing an international partnership to launch a roadside assistance offering to over 22 million Wazers across Europe. Drivers will be able to access an on-demand roadside assistance service powered by Allianz Partners in real-time, by one simple click on the Roadside Help (‘SOS’) button in the Waze app, and get support from either a digital platform or call center. Wazers will be assisted anywhere, 24/7, in the event of a breakdown, flat tyre or flat battery.

August 2018 -- Allianz China General Insurance and Allianz Worldwide Partners China today announced that they will join forces with Ctrip to introduce Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) in China, which will provide Ctrip’s car rental channel users with a full range of insurance benefits for four major destinations including the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Compared with regular car rental insurance plans, CDW offers a wider range of claims to serve Ctrip’s growing ranks of outbound tourists.
